Here are a few snip snaps from our first 2 days in Seattle*.  We loooove the Pacific Northwest so very much (i.e. Portland trip, Vancouver trip).  If it didn’t rain so often, I’d live there in a heartbeat.  But alas, it drizzled for half the trip and that’s enough drizzle to last me the rest of the year.  Oh, but it’s so gorgeous!

After a lovely breakfast at Macrina Bakery (which was across the street from our hotel…so lucky!), we visited the Ballard Farmers Market.  I could’ve spent hours upon hours at this market.  Easily the best one I’ve been to!  Piles and piles of rhubarb, freshly caught fish, the most gorgeous rainier cherries, and (gasp) a never ending supply of peonies.

A quick stop at Golden Gardens in Ballard for an amazing view of Puget Sound (thanks for taking our photo, Rudy!!)…

I was dying to visit this cookbook shop.  It didn’t disappoint!  SO many cookbooks in one place…my kind of heaven.

For dinner, we met up with my good friend Val and her boyfriend at Ballard Pizza Co. (actually, we met at Delancey Pizza but their 90 minute wait forced us to look for other options…this place ended up being delicious!).

And then on to Molly Moon’s Ice Cream for dessert…

Thank you! Yes, i LOVED Olympic Sculpture Park, Golden Gardens, and Kerry Park for wonderful views. For food, I liked Local 360 in Belltown, Ballard Pizza Co in Ballard, Macrina Bakery in Belltown for breakfast, Dahlia Bakery in downtown for quick sandwiches, Caffe Vita for coffee. Also, I’ll be posting more of my favorite restaurants tomorrow! Have a lovely time 🙂

Thanks so much Marcie. The jacket is from Zara. I got it about a month ago so it could still be in store! I love it.
